San Diego | Trash the Dress | Open Source Photo

A few of us from OSP who live in So. Cal. got together for a mass shooting spree. We had an opportunity to get some great photos made for many nice girls at once. For those that don't know, "Trash the Dress" shoots are a relatively new phenomenon which results in bridals that you might not normally be able to take on an actual wedding day. Here are a few of mine.

We Now Proudly Present...

The newest addition to Studio 512. We'll be offering beautiful, hand-made flush-mount albums to turn your photos into a work of art that will become a family heirloom.


There are many options of leather types and colors. There are also cameos and titles to personalize your album. This particular book measures 11" x 14" when closed.



It lays flat no matter which page you're on. The image covers the entire page and has a very minor gutter.



The firm pages have gilded, rounded edges that are hand-sanded for a smooth finish.



I personally design the entire album from scratch to give your book the personal touch it deserves.

The Big Crash of '07

For those of you who don't know, I had a hard drive go down, which was greatly debilitating. Thanks to God, the data was recoverable and I was hooked up with Nathan of Mac Rebuilders in San Diego. He's been doing a great job and helped me get up and running. Because of him, I was able to finally get these Europe images posted - among other things. Thanks, Nathan!

Here's a side-note. This event reminded me how important it is to have my data backed up...which it was. For those of you who work with important data, make sure you always back up your files onto DVDs - 2 sets for redundancy - and put 1 set in a different location in case of fire etc. Because I followed my own rule, I didn't lose anything other than the work done to the files. The 1-2 months of work that it represents is what was really troubling here. Good lessons!

Could it be true?!

After sorting through 8000+ photos, choosing my favorites, categorizing, editing, resizing and finally posting them...the Europe pictures are up for your enjoyment. The trip took place from April 3 - 26th and it was the trip of a lifetime.
