Just a quick post to wish everyone a wonderful and safe thanksgiving! It's interesting how easy it is to be thankful for everything - profitable, agreeable, lovable, beneficial, pleasant - in our lives, but not so much for those things that are not perceived as good.
When you give thanks, who exactly are you thanking? Let's remember this year when we're thankful to direct our thanks towards the One who bestows it in the first place ... year-round.
A couple views of a visit in La Jolla on Friday. The Lamborghini is the beautiful and powerful new LP640. Later, the torches and street lamps were making a haunting yet peaceful glow after the marine layer overtook the beach.

They did it! The Valley Center home I moved into with my parents and brother was paid off even sooner than they'd expected. It was even perfectly timed with my Dad's retirement.
I'm impressed with and inspired by their diligence and amazed that they are now official, honest-to-goodness home owners.
Congratulations, guys! Thanks for the celebratory dinner too. Love you!
